HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE GOPHERS?
The most common signs that you have a gopher is the dirt mounds that "magically appear" in your yard. These dirt mounds can be round, crescent shaped or even a small open hole, with a plug of dirt inside of it.
The other signs are the most obvious; dying plants, plants that have disappeared and drip, sprinkler and irrigation lines that are damaged.
Gophers are fast above ground, as they are below. If you see a gopher, don't overreact and do the wrong things; cram every toxin and poison, gas, flammable, water or gum into the tunnel. All you'll do is make the gopher mad, and you'll actually be causing more damage than the gopher.
As soon as you realize that you have a gopher, do the right thing and call us. We can be out to your place quickly and get traps into the tunnel system and kill your gophers before they turn your yard into what resembles the surface of the moon.
