The Gopher Getters started back in 1966, in Gila Bend, Arizona. Throughout the years, not once has any chemicals, poisons, baits, water or any type of flammables been used for gophers. Our family has been trapping and killing pocket gophers for many generations. We know that gophers will quickly detect anything inserted into their tunnels. Even we must use specific techniques to keep the gophers from detecting us. For many decades, we have been tracking gophers by urine, the only true method for determining if a tunnel system is active or not, saving time and money.
Our methods are so outstanding that we guarantee our trapping! With pest control companies, you are told that the gophers simply, "die somewhere", except the gophers keep coming back.
With trapping, you will actually see and know for certain that this gopher will never be able to hurt your property again, reproduce, or destroy another plant or irrigation line on your property.
The Gopher Getters is a woman-owned company. Sandra has been trapping for nearly her entire life. She has trained her sons as well to trap, as she was trained by her father. Trapping pocket gophers is an extremely tough job, not only because of the digging, kneeling and jumping on shovels all day, but also because of the risk of skin cancer, rattlesnake bites, animal attacks and the many assortment of venomous insects.
Sandra has always believed in working hard and helping others. She will work to help those who need payments and even gives money back to customers when they refer their neighbors, family and friends for gopher trapping services.
Sandra has been providing small micro franchises to help people globally start up their own successful trapping business.
An advocate for the safety of children, families, pets, livestock, wildlife and the environment, she is continually fighting against the usage and abusive use of products that are known to kill children, pets, non-targeted species and contaminate our planet.
Sandra has an extensive background in trapping, computer technology and is currently developing new products that will help golf courses and property owners alike keep pocket gophers from damaging their lawns.
As a Gold and Silver Medallist, world-class athlete and competitor, Sandra loves a good challenge and will take on each job with a great attitude. She works hard to get the job done, and strives to keep her customers happy with the services she and her trappers provide.

The Gopher Getters has two main offices; Arizona and Utah. We service both states, with trapping, training and educational services. In many other states, we are available to train and educate. We are always looking for professional trappers to join us, but they must comply with our methods, and can never stray from our strict guidelines.
