Plant Marigolds, they really do help. Marigolds smell like crap, we can all agree on that but have you ever tried tasting the stem or root? Whatever you do, don't try this, you'll end up trying to rid your mouth of this horrid taste and there isn't anything on this planet that will help you. You'll have to live with it and you can plan on dealing with this awful taste in your mouth for at least 4 months! You'll also become extremely ill, like someone we won't mention. Stay clear from sampling, enjoy their beauty and plant them all along your borders and home. They'll make a difference with the gophers and also with the bugs. Yes, even the bugs! You can use tall, giant and even small Marigolds. Mix them up and when they die, take off the dead petals and replant, you've just doubled, if not quadrupled your investment.

Don't use gas to "burn" them out. If you do, you deserve to go to jail. |
